The Association of College and University Broadcasting Stations (ACUBS) was an organization of educational radio stations, created as a result of The Fourth National Radio Conference, held by the U.S. Department of Commerce.〔Saettler, L. Englewood, Colorado: Libraries Unlimited, 1990.〕 It was primarily a "program idea exchange" with 25 total members that occasionally made attempts to rebroadcast programs shared between them.〔Sterling, C.
